Funny column on kids and cell phones

Even though I recently got a BlackBerry and I love it, I think our culture is too obsessed with gadgets. I also have a problem with young kids becoming completely dependent on technology and ending up with zero social skills.

Which is why I found this column in the Globe Sunday Magazine by Thomas O'Rourke hilarious and spot on. It's a short piece on why he won't get his 11-year-old a cell phone. Enjoy!
