The Globe's website had a cool interactive list today on the Top 100 books set in New England or written by New England authors. Readers could rate the books and mark the books they've read or want to read.
For the most part, I think the list was well done--especially since they included A Prayer For Owen Meany, my favorite book of all time. I would argue Cider House Rules should have been on the list, but that might have been Irving overload.
I also would've liked to see some Dr. Seuss on the list. Theodor Geisel was not only a Mass native, but anyone from Western Mass knows that his first book, And To Think That I Saw It On Mulberry Street is named after a real street in his hometown of Springfield!
Think they forgot anything else?
